I am a career entrepreneur (can’t stop, won’t stop), former tech startup founder (made it out alive), and award-winning writer/producer based in Tennessee (on a farm).

My work has been featured in publications ranging from Fast Company, Entrepreneur, and Forbes to Weekly Humorist, Slackjaw Humor, and the Erma Bombeck Blog. I collaborate with brands and artists from across the globe to tell their stories in authentic, dynamic, and compelling ways.

In February 2022, I released my first book and accompanying short film, Champagne for One: A Celebration of Solitude. The illustrated collection of satire and essays has received various accolades including “best personal development book of 2022” (Spy Magazine) and “best  humor book of the year” (Foreword Reviews). Additionally, it  landed me a spot as  “humor writer of the month” by the Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop. The short film has captured over a dozen official selections and awards from festivals worldwide including Paris Short Film Festival’s “best producer,” and Critics Choice International Film Festival’s “best experimental film.” It premiered at the Nashville Film Festival in October 2022.

In addition to my client-commissioned work, I am  a colmunist for Porch + Prairie magazine, where I write about my experiences living on a farm after 20 years of big city life. Recently, I’ve launched a Substack publication that features writings past, present, and future — meant to be a bright spot in an otherwise endless feed of mostly dreadful news. As expected, I have two to three “projects in development” at any given time.

Prior to turning my attention to full-time writing and producing, I spent over a decade in Silicon Valley as a tech startup co-founder in the marketing analytics space. Before I dove into that chapter head first, I was the CEO and co-founder of a technology-focused communications company and launched over 150 companies into the U.S. market. I credit my years training as a professional ballerina for making me the highly disciplined, musically-inclined, borderline perfectionist that I am today. My husband and puppies get the credit for everything else that goes right.
